Born and raised in the small town of Brooklawn, New Jersey, in the shadow of the Philadelphia skyline, Mark and his wife, Renee’ raised four children there, before relocating to central Pennsylvania a few years ago.

   Mark worked as a carpenter crew supervisor at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for 37 years before retiring. He plays guitar, and performed with various cover bands over the years. He still keeps his hand in woodworking in his own shop, but spends a great deal of time pursuing his new love, writing.
